Straight Leg Raise in bed

Straight Leg Raise in bed

Start by lying on your back on a bed with one leg straight and the other leg bent, foot flat on the bed. Arms can be resting on the bed.
Bend the ankle of the straight leg and lift the leg upwards. Keep the lower-back flat on the bed and the knee straight. In a controlled manner, lower the leg back onto the bed.

This exercise improves trunk support and strengthens the front thigh muscles.

Required equipment: Adjustable plinth/bed
