Shoulder External Rotation in Abduction

Stand tall holding a dumbbell in one hand. The elbow is bent to 90 degrees and the arm is lifted to the side. Slightly pull your shoulder blade in and down and hold that position.

Hold your elbow in place and rotate your shoulder outwards by bringing your hand upwards. Rotate the arm back to the starting position in a controlled manner.

Note: Do not shrug your shoulders.
