Leg on and off bed - with ankle weight

Lie on your back, with your affected leg close to the edge of the bed.
Attach a weight to your ankle.
Keep your unaffected knee bent.
Practice lifting your affected leg off the bed, then back onto the bed.
Rest your leg straight on the bed.
